Second Chances...

That pretty much sums up what the People for Pets Foundation is all about. Thousands of cats and dogs are surrendered to or end up at animal shelters for various reasons. These reasons include home foreclosures, abusive situations, unaffordable medical care costs, stray/homeless animals, or the worst of all, people who just don't want the animal any more.

If organizations like ours did not step in to help these animals they would most likely be euthanized at the shelter or worse, suffer and die living on their own due to lack of care or concern.

This simply is not acceptable.

The PFPF works in Culpeper County, Virginia and rescues many of these animals from our local shelter and from the community at large. These pets are placed in one of our foster homes where they are lovingly cared for. We provide all veterinary care, food and other services including spay/neuter and microchipping.

Through our wonderful relationship with local PetSmarts we are able to find these pets new homes so they can get a "Second Chance" at the life they deserve.
